Network Members Unite
The success of Hill Day was a testament to the power of collaboration. More than 25 Network Members and Purpose Built representatives arrived on the Hill. This collective effort aimed to establish and strengthen connections with key decision-makers as we worked to raise awareness of our mission and promoted policy change. “It was incredible to see the collective power of advocacy as our Network Members engaged in dialogue with congressional leaders,” said Purpose Built CEO Carol Naughton.

Network Members were on a mission – advocating for critical policy priorities on Capitol Hill. From championing capacity-building grants for economic mobility to safeguarding affordable housing and community development programs and pushing for an expansion of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit – our voices were heard on key issues.

In the lead-up to Hill Day, Purpose Built took proactive steps to ensure Network Members were well-prepared. Talking points were refined and enhanced through dedicated coaching sessions led by April Callen, our Vice President of Racial Equity Programs & Narrative Strategy. Each member emerged ready to articulate their purpose and goals effectively. Purpose Built led logistics and coordination, allowing Network Members to focus wholeheartedly on their engagements and interactions during this critical day on Capitol Hill. The result?
