Poverty is the neighbor of wealth in America’s cities – but it doesn’t have to be.
This season will tell stories about:
- interstates dividing communities,
- walking out your door and “feeling it,”
- both public charter schools and traditional public schools helping students and neighborhoods,
- the struggles of fighting against the forces of gentrification,
- waking up and walking with a purpose every day, and
- coming back full circle.
We’ll hear stories from:
- Orlando, Florida,
- Raleigh, North Carolina,
- Omaha, Nebraska,
- Atlanta, Georgia,
- Houston, Texas, and
- Charlotte, North Carolina
