Poverty is the neighbor of wealth in America’s cities – but it doesn’t have to be.

This season will tell stories about:

  • interstates dividing communities,
  • walking out your door and “feeling it,”
  • both public charter schools and traditional public schools helping students and neighborhoods,
  • the struggles of fighting against the forces of gentrification,
  • waking up and walking with a purpose every day, and
  • coming back full circle.

We’ll hear stories from:

  • Orlando, Florida,
  • Raleigh, North Carolina,
  • Omaha, Nebraska,
  • Atlanta, Georgia,
  • Houston, Texas, and
  • Charlotte, North Carolina
